Today we all are living in the 21st century with a aim to achieve a lot and to make this world an auspicious, providential and exuberant place to live in. But despite of the endless efforts from the social reformers and good human beings as a whole we seems to be procrastinate in the objective.
Even today many of the social evils prevailed among which racism is one of the oldest and still is making a repercussion on the society
If one is to understand others, one must first know oneself. To give children and young people an accurate view of the world & education, must first help them to discover who they are. Only then will they genuinely be able to put themselves in other people's shoes and understand their reactions. Developing such empathy at school, bears fruit in terms of social behavior throughout life.
RACISM-Racism is an ideology that gives expression to myths about other racial and ethnic groups, that devalues and renders inferior those groups, that reflects and is perpetuated by deeply rooted historical, social, cultural and power inequalities in society.Examples of racist behavior include ridicule, racist abuse, property damage, racial harassment, racist propaganda, racial vilification and physical assault.
Racist behavior may be direct (overt) or indirect (covert) in nature. Direct racial discrimination is the unfair or unequal treatment of a person or a group on racial grounds.
